Center the rotor or drum on the arbor with cones & adapter set options, quick chucks, and spacers that hold the work true for a clean, accurate cut.
Restock the wear items your lathe runs through every week, including positive rake and negative rake bits, tool holders, silencer band options, and boots & belts.
Bring an aging machine back to spec with repair parts like arbors, lead screw nuts, gears, an aluminum pulley, and boring bars matched to factory part numbers.
Save a step at the bench with bundled kits and truck sets that group every component for a repair into one order.
Finding the right part should be the easy part of your day. Match each item to your exact lathe model, then use the interchangeable part numbers MT-RSR lists on every product to cross-reference an Ammco model or any other machine and lock in fitment before you check out. Seeing chatter on a finished face or watching a bit lose its edge? A fresh insert and a quick look at your tool holders has you turning clean rotors again in minutes. Stock up on consumables like silencer bands and belts today, and a worn part never costs you a job.

We stock brake clamping tools, consumable parts, repair parts, and complete kits for both bench and on-car lathes. That covers everything you need to clamp, cut, and finish a brake rotor or drum.
Our catalog fits major brands, including Ammco, Accu-Turn, Hunter, John Bean, FMC, and Ranger. Most items list interchangeable part numbers so you can confirm a match against your O.E. reference before you buy.
The shear gear is a sacrificial part in the Ammco right-angle drive that breaks to protect the gear train if the lathe binds. If your Ammco brake lathe stops feeding, inspect the shear gear first and swap it before you check the heavier drive parts.
Positive rake bits slice with less cutting pressure and suit softer rotors, while negative rake bits run stronger on harder metal and resist chatter. We carry both styles along with the tool holders that index them.
Yes. A rotor silencer band wraps the face to dampen vibration during a cut, and a drum silencer band does the same inside a drum. Both cut down chatter and help leave a smoother finish.
A cross feed extension plate kit moves the tool farther across the table so you can machine larger rotors on Ammco lathes, specifically the 4000 and 4100. Confirm the kit against your machine before ordering.
The 6950 twin cutter is the dual-bit head on many Ammco brake lathes that turns both rotor faces at once. Several of our tool holders and the matching return spring fit any car lathe equipped with the 6950 twin cutter.
Protective spindle boots, feed screw boots, and drive belts are consumable parts that wear with everyday use. Keeping a spare aluminum pulley set with belt on hand also saves downtime when a drive slips.
Yes, MT-RSR offers durable replacement parts specifically designed to replace worn consumables and keep your brake lathe functioning effectively.
