Chatter usually comes from a worn arbor, a loose arbor nut, dull bits, or a larger rotor with enough rotor mass to vibrate. A rotor silencer band damps that vibration while you cut rotors.

The shear gear in an Ammco right angle drive is designed to break first and protect the feed components behind it. Keeping a spare on the shelf turns a lost day into a ten-minute repair.

Replace it once the cross feed handle develops play or your cut depth drifts. Ammco lathe owners can choose old-style or new-style nuts, and drum feed screw nuts are available for FMC machines.

Yes. Spindle boots keep grit off the spindle, and drive belts pair with our aluminum pulley set. Both sit under Consumable Parts alongside tool holders, bits, and silencers.

Rotors mount through the center hole using cones and an adapter set, backed by an arbor nut. Hub-centric clamping keeps a light truck rotor running true during heavy-duty work.

Machines with the 6950 twin cutter setup use left- and right-hand negative rake tool holders, and we stock both. Matched holders keep each rotor face cutting evenly and protect lathe performance.
